What's happened to Flight MH370?

My theory is that it's either political or terrorist. They could even interlink. There is a lot of 'hot water' in that part of the world over borders, who owns what and who is responsible for what.

At the end of the day though, planes don't just disappear off the face of the earth, not in this day and age.

As a spin-off of @Stillborn 's thread (BAIT) I created a new thread about the flight 370 plane that is still missing.

He got me thinking.... are there other regions besides the infamous Bermuda Triangle where a large amount of paranormal type activity can be identified in a specified area, particularly at sea? I recall there being reports of high activity in some water bodies in the UK but I don't recall any in Asia.

How about not just the Bermuda Triangle but other incidents of planes disappearing without a trace {like flight 370 and remember Amelia Earhart way back in the '30s} - and of course there are many incidents of people disappearing on the ground as well. Of course if you are a sci-fi and UFO/alien fan you probably already considered it - Yep, they abducted the plane passengers, crew and all out of the sky using an alien mother-ship. It's happened on the seas as well - remember that story abut the ship they found with the table set like they were about to eat dinner - and not a trace of anyone was found on board. Maybe this is one reason some people won't believe in the alien/UFO phenomena - its implications are scary!

You got me thinking about a sci-fi movie from some years ago... Millenium with Cheryl Ladd & Kris Kristofferson from back in the '80s dealt with airplanes being sent through a time portal to the future, the passengers replaced, and then the plane sent back to look like a natural disaster.

Folks,
I think if you analysed the data for missing ships and planes and randomly established a "triangle" anywhere in the world you'd have dozens of "Bermuda Triangles. HOWEVER, the real scary thing out on the ocean are the Freak Waves! These are monstrous waves, over 30 metres in height that can appear from no-where.

I know rogue waves have been blamed for ships disappearing, and they are often mentioned as an explanation for missing ships in the Bermuda Triangle, but I have not come across them as an explanation for missing aircraft. Even in the Wikipedia article it mentions waves of up to 100 feet -- certainly enough to engulf a ship, not too many planes flying that low off the water though.

Since 1948, 88 aircraft went missing without a trace.....
SINCE 1948, A total of 88 aircraft have been declared “missing”.

The Aviation Safety Network has compiled a list of all aircraft that have been reported to have never been found.

The majority went missing at sea, 62, while 25 went missing over land.

The list shows that 28 were passenger planes, while 21 were military aircraft.

The period where the most aircraft went missing was between 1960-1969 and 1970-1979.

The latest missing flight — Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 — the whereabouts are still unknown,.....

See whole article here:
Since 1948, 88 aircraft went missing without a trace - two off the Irish coast

So it is still open to speculation - With modern technology and satellites circling the globe how can a plane disappear without a trace? The simplest answer is for you sci-fi writers to elaborate on in a book, is that some 'alien abductions' are real and an 'alien mothership' abducted the plane{s} out of the sky to continue their studying and observation of the Human species - In the book you can explain how they are eventually returned {like in the series "The 4400"}, but in reality don't bet on the plane or passengers to ever show up again. Fear of flying anyone?

certainly enough to engulf a ship, not too many planes flying that low off the water though.
After giving this a bit of thought I believe I might have a solution. Micro-bursts or stronger. Depending upon the column of air that is being pushed downward dictates the size of the rogue wave associated. Micro-bursts have downed many planes and still does. If you blow a jet of air into the surface of water you get not only a depression in the surface but also big waves. Not only can the micro-burst slam a plane into the water surface, the contact point may be depressed where the burst hits the water/plane. When the burst dissipates the water will rush back into the depression swamping any plane that might be trying to recover. The snap back of all the displaced water can shoot a column of water high up into the air. I've done this with an air blow gun and a tire tub of water. All that it needs is scaled up.

I recently caught a short piece about triangles that said there are like 15-18 scattered over the planet and they all have similar histories but most were on land. One was very near where they were searching for MH370 off of Australia. I'll try to remember where I saw it. I think it was one of the History Channels or something similar.

This week debris that, so far, would seem to be from MH370 has been found washing up near Madagascar. The drift models put the point of origin in the general area off of Australia that search crews had been concentrating on. A US intelligence agency report was also "leaked" that concludes that the plane was diverted on purpose.

ohhhh you all arent even close.

In 1963, the CIA devised a plot called Operation Northwoods

Operation Northwoods - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In short, the plan was to hijack an airliner, shoot it down over Cuba, and thus discredit Castro.

The plan was never executed, and sat on a shelf, until last year, when somone remembered it, and thought "We could do that to Putin."

There many peculiar things about both MH370 and MH17. Things that dont add up.

This website does a good job of outlining this oddities

Busted! MH-17 Was in Fact the 'Lost' Flight MH-370 -- Updates | Humans Are Free

Its seems pretty odd to me that on a planet so technologically advanced they can pin point you mobile phone to within ten feet, that a modern commercial jet can simply vanish off the face of the planet. Does that straike you as bizarre?

And MH17, some very peculiar oddities there.

(Ive been reading and watching all sorts of mysteries over the last 50 years, i like to keep track until thiere enough evidence to make a judegment about it. One thing I have learned is that the on the spot eye witness accounts tend to be truthfull and accurate, until the establishmant cover up machine gets rolling - Roswell is the perfect example).

So i place credibility on the eyewitnesses at MH17 who said the bodies were not freshly dead, but wer black, rotting ang stinking - as if they had been dead a couple of weeks. Theres other stuff here

Top 7 Reasons to Question the Official Story of MH17 | Humans Are Free

SO. Heres what I think, and this fits the facts: MH370 was hi jacked. and turned round. SOmeone then set about disabling all the devices the aircraft could be tracked or located with. It was then flown at 43,000 feet for 20 minutes, which was enough for the emergency oxygen to run out and all the passengers die of asphysixiation. It was then dropped to a very low altitude, maybe only 200 feet, and flown the american base at Diego Garcia. The plane was then strripped of food and the passports and baggage searched and stripped of identifying documents.

MH17 was cancelled, and MH370 flown up the African coast at zero fet and then up into the flight path the real MH17 would have taken, locked onto autopilot, and the pilots bailed out. It was then shot down as per Operation Northwoods plan.

Read all the evidence in the links before dismissing this theory. Its the only explanation that covers all the obvious facts and oddities.

There is no proof this debris was part of MH370.
