I am thinking that it is setting up the next Marvel Universe movie that will ultimately lead to the Marvel Civil War story line. Not sure I'm a fan of Captain Adama acting as some sort of SHIELD leader out to get Coulson...
Yeah, I sometimes lose track of when the seasons start so on the days I work from home I am sometimes pleasantly surprised to find what got recorded.Thank goodness my DVR keeps track of when the new episodes come on...
Yeah, he's still around but, uh, he ain't looking too good.... but I guess they had to keep someone around longer...oh well.
I like O'Mara as an actor and was really disappointed that the US version of Life on Mars didn't get a better response. That said, however, it is the appearance of Ghost Rider that I'm looking forward. The AoS incarnation will be closer to the current comics version so no motorcycle, a car instead, and not the Nicholas Cage type character shown in the movies. I just hope they don't 'cheap' out on the budget for the special effects when he is in flame on mode. What does O'Mara's arrival mean for our favorite Agents? You'll have to wait to find out, but that won't be the only big debut this season as Gabriel Luna joins the cast as Robbie Reyes, the Ghost Rider, keeping everyone on their toes.
Anybody else getting the feeling that they are aiming at making S4 a lot more action oriented than previously? With the changes in place, and now with the addition of Ghost Rider, it seems to be taking a direction closer to the comics versus the 'cloak & dagger' feel of before.Season 4 premiere on ABC on Tuesday, September 20 at 10 PM ET
I just realized the new time! The 10:00PM timeslot will ostensibly allow them to get away with things a bit darker in tone than previous seasons. Maybe in response to the positive feedback to the Netflix Marvel universe but lackluster response to the Marvel ABC universe?“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” returns September 20 10:00 PM ET on ABC
In the season 4 finale, Coulson & Co. were enjoying a last meal, expecting to be arrested by government agents, but instead were seemingly frozen in place by some shadowy figures and kidnapped before viewers picked up with Coulson sometime later in space.
While the organization’s identity was not revealed, a running theory posits that they’re members of S.W.O.R.D., the Sentient World Observation and Response Department, which is basically a military agency designed to protect Earth from intergalactic threats.
I can't wait. When Agents first started, I was very much in the mind of "meh, it's a bit bland and boring" but as the show moved forward, it's become one of my favourites (although I'm still very upset over Ward not being there - they could have brought him back )S5 is set to start December 1st.
If you haven't been watching you missed a bunch of some wild story lines!
Bummer...I've personally been enjoying how things have been progressing myself. Guess I'm in the minority.I knew that S5 of "SHIELD in Space" was taking a hit in the ratings but apparently it's worse than I realized. The S5 season finale is being written & presented as a likely series finale.
