In 2019, ASTRA Satellites reveal a mysterious anomaly threatening the world's most secret and powerful machine embedded deep in the Yucatan's Calakmul Biosphere Reserve. To assess the situation, Admiral Stanchion, director of ASTRA, activates his most lethal team of military operatives: Captain Abel "Stein" Keller, Lunchbox, Carlos, Liz and Sneed.
Trapped within nearly impenetrable jungle in the "Forbidden Zone" of the Central Yucatan, the team makes an astounding discovery that undermines current thinking about Mayan history as well as our place in the cosmos. Worse, they find that a holy hell of ancient evil is about to be unleashed upon humanity, unless they can stop it in time.
