Hello Kevin - glad you are still keeping up with the latest in Borg technology.
Hundreds of years ago {human time} the Borg experimented with surrogates - we have upgraded much since then and surrogates are no longer used - all members of the Borg are self-contained. We do however occasionally use clones - If someone agrees to assimilation and has a human body beyond upgrading {ie. advanced age or severely disabled} we will clone their consciousness into a brand new container {body}. Cloned Borgs are 'state of the art' and are guaranteed for functionality and durability. But in any case upgraded human or clone you will be part of the Borg Group and will see the world as the Borg sees it - Not a limiting universe that constricts and controls you but rather a place to conquer - A world to rule. This is a contradiction to Borg Ideology.
Borg is a collective conscience and the individuality is replaced by the collective. Advanced age should not matter because the Borg Nanites can rebuild a body to functionality. Physical disabilities would be supplemented with Borg-Tech to fill a specific function required by the Collective. Mental disabilities would be rendered a moot subject because the individual mind is supplanted with the Collective.
Your above claim is Flawed (in a 7 of 9 voice).
Perhaps you need to return to the Collective and purge your humanistic qualities.

Hello Tom. Let us try to address your concerns. True the Borg could rebuild almost anyone, human or otherwise. But the Borg is state of the art and in spite of some misconceptions we are profit orientated. There are cases where beings are so far gone that rebuilding them as they are would not be cost effective - It is more effective to clone these beings - And the Borg mastered cloning a long time ago. As far as individual consciousness goes there is again a misconception that all individuality is ended by assimilation - In fact assimilation does not end individual consciousness but simply refines the consciousness of the individual to a greater level of awareness and effectiveness - True consciousness and effectiveness is ruled by Borg priorities but this is a small price to pay when you become part of the winning class of universal conquerors.

Apparently we can rule you out as to assimilation - But soon the Borg will be assimilating at least one major Hollywood studio snd will soon be producing BORG - THE MOVIE to be followed by the series ADVENTURES OF THE BORG. To produce the movie and the series we will need an enemy for effect - Can we count on you for creative opposition? We will reveal the plot to you at an early stage and you can come up with enemies the Borg must overcome. We will guarantee no humans involved in the production of the movie or series will be forceably assimitated and you can safely maintain your human individuality {LOL} while you are working as our enemy as a script writer. Let us know if you are interested in the project - it will pay well.
